A little about us...

We are family owned and operated.  We are a mother daughter team who have been working together since the doors opened in 1992.  But, our experience does not stop there.  Paula has been working with and breeding dogs since she was a teenager.  Now grown with two daughters she has passed down that knowledge and experience.  Heather has not only grown a passion for the animals but also works as the business' groomer. 

We carry pure bred and hybrid puppies.  You can come in and have us help you choose the right puppy for you.  We are committed to making sure that you take home the perfect puppy.  If we do not have what you are looking for we can always special order that special puppy for you at no additional charge.

Where Do Our Puppies Come From...

Critter Comforts gets all of our puppies from top breeders. We
have made it our mission to set our sights higher than most to ensure that your new pet is healthy and that it gives you many years of happiness.  Paula has personally flown out to meet her breeders and to see exactly where the puppies are bred and raised.  These ARE NOT puppy mill puppies.

Not only are the puppies from top breeders, they are given the
highest quality of care humanly possible.  Each puppy must past a complete exam from our veterinarian before it is able to be sold.  Every puppy comes with all shots current and up to date, as well as worming and a first month of flea and tick prevention.  Then next puppy vaccination is also given courtesy of our veterinarian at not additional charge.  Our puppies also come with a full warranty.  Not just the state mandatory two week health guarantee, but a full three year hereditary and genetic guarantee standard.  This is able to be offered because of the trust we have for our breeders from the years of working with them.  This is not your average puppy store. 

What Makes Us Different...

Not only are our puppies bred for top quality health, they are
also bred for disposition.  We want to ensure that every puppy sold is not only healthy but happy.  Another major difference is the way our puppies are kept.  There are no cages for these special puppies.  Our puppies are kept in playpens
with other puppies of equal size and play style.  This style of housing is crucial for a puppies physical and mental development.  Cages or pens with grids cause stress on a young puppies bones and joints.  But, our solid floored pens ensure that they can play and sleep in a comfortable natural environment.  It is also important that developing puppies continue to play with each other after they leave their mother.  This ensures proper mental and emotional development. 
And, allows us to assess the puppies 100% so you take home the perfect new member of your family.

What makes us Special... 

Not only do we carry puppies but kittens as well.  We can special
order a pure bred kitten of your choice.  But, what makes our kittens really special is that year round we help save lives by offering rescued cats and kittens, available for adoption. We bring them in, make sure they are vaccinated and feline leukemia / AIDS-negative, then give them all the love and care they need to be healthy, and prepare them to be adopted by you!
